Women have been playing baseball as long as men have. Their long connection with the game began in the mid-1800s and has continued through the efforts of individual pioneers like Amanda Clement, Jackie Mitchell, Toni Stone, Maria Pepe, and Ila Borders.
The American Girls Baseball, Inc. is a 501(c)(3)charitable organization. All donations are deemed tax-deductible absent any limitations on deductibility applicable to a particular taxpayer. The tax deduction is limited to the excess of the contribution over the fair market value of any items received in exchange for the donation.
