A New Chapter in Women’s Baseball: All-American Women’s Baseball Classic Returns to the Historic Stage

Honoring the past, shaping the future. From August 1–3, 2025, the All-American Women’s Baseball Classic will bring together top female talent at the iconic Durham Bulls Athletic Park in Durham, North Carolina. Hosted by USA Baseball and the Durham Bulls, in collaboration with the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League (AAGPBL) and American Girls Baseball (AGB)—and with support from Major League Baseball (MLB)—this event is a celebration of women’s baseball past, present, and future.

The Classic will serve as both a scouting event for future USA Baseball Women’s National Team opportunities and a powerful tribute to the original trailblazers of the AAGPBL. Athletes will be grouped into four teams named after the AAGPBL’s founding franchises: the South Bend Blue Sox, Racine Belles, Kenosha Comets, and Rockford Peaches. A round-robin format will have each team playing three games, with a champion crowned based on a point system.

All six games will stream live and free on MLB.com, MLB.TV, and the MLB App.

More Than a Tournament

Off the field, the Classic offers several ways to honor and advance women in baseball:

  • July 31 Welcome Reception – Includes a special panel discussion and screening of A League of Their Own
  • August 1 PLAY BALL Event – Athletes will coach local youth in MLB’s signature engagement program
  • August 2 Morning Workout – An optional player development opportunity led by USA Baseball coaching staff
